At just 13 years old, Kabir has already shown more courage, determination, and kindness than many people do in a lifetime. Kabir has a strong bond with his parents, brother Ayaan, and two beloved dogs—Hachi, a Keeshond, and Mochi, a Boston Terrier—Kabir’s life is filled with love, resilience, and hope.
Kabir’s journey hasn’t been easy. Diagnosed with leukemia at just four years old, he’s faced cancer three times—at ages 4, 6, and 7. Today, the cancer is gone, but lasting health challenges mean he uses a wheelchair for school. Even so, Kabir’s story isn’t defined by his illness—it’s defined by his spirit.
A Life Full of Passions
When he’s not at school or appointments, Kabir loves watching anime, playing video games, and going on family trips when he feels well enough. His dogs bring him joy and comfort, and he enjoys cooking and baking—especially trying new recipes.
Big Dreams for the Future
Kabir has a clear vision for his future: he wants to be a chef and open his own restaurant. But his dream goes beyond just serving food—he wants to give meals away to families affected by pediatric cancer, offering comfort and nourishment during difficult times.
What Makes a Perfect Day
For Kabir, the best day would be spent at an amusement park or the beach, with plenty of delicious food to enjoy along the way.
Acts of Kindness
Kindness is at the heart of who Kabir is. Recently, he won his brother a big Pokémon prize at Six Flags, simply to make him smile. He also makes an effort to be kind to other kids at school or the hospital who might be going through a hard time.
Staying Strong Through Challenges
Kabir stays strong by focusing on the things he loves—watching shows, playing games, and FaceTiming with his brother when he’s in the hospital. Conversations with his parents also give him comfort and strength.
The Power of Love and Sacrifice
One of the most unforgettable acts of kindness in Kabir’s life came from his younger brother Ayaan, who donated bone marrow to save Kabir’s life. Without hesitation, Ayaan went through the procedure, despite the pain it caused. To Kabir, Ayaan isn’t just his brother—he’s his best friend.
Words of Wisdom
Kabir has learned that “the harder it gets, the more worth it it will be when you come out of it.” His message to the world is simple yet powerful: be kind to people. You never know the battles they are facing.
Raising Awareness
Kabir wishes more people understood that childhood cancer doesn’t end when treatment stops. The long-term effects can be life-changing, and learning to live with them is a challenge in itself.
Gratitude Above All
Through everything, Kabir's family is the constant source of love and support that’s helped him keep going.
Kabir’s journey is a testament to resilience, compassion, and the belief that even in the hardest moments, kindness and hope can shine through.

Great story!! ❤️
