About
Help 1 Person Today was established in August 2024. After countless volunteer hours, work experience, and research, we crafted a vision to support children and families facing the challenges of cancer. Our approach is distinctive providing one-on-one mentorship for children (and siblings) who are currently undergoing or have previously experienced cancer, regardless of whether the mentor has experienced cancer themselves.
The Research
There are outstanding volunteers who give their time visiting children during treatment. Through our "tennis shoes on the ground" work and research, we have found opportunities are lacking for sustained relationships, which can greatly impact children and families. Cancer research from a medical perspective is always evolving and extremely vital, but our vision is to bridge the mental health and behavioral gap.

Our Mission
Help one person each day and foster supportive
relationships to children and families
battling cancer.
We believe each person has more to offer
the world than they could ever imagine.
